Are you a Buyer with experience in Offshore related projects? Then we are looking for you!

As a Senior Buyer, you are responsible for managing the procurement process for complex project packages, acting as the primary commercial interface with vendors. You ensure equipment and services are sourced under the best commercial and contractual conditions while supporting projects throughout the full procurement lifecycle.

• Lead the end-to-end sourcing process including RFQ preparation, tender management, commercial evaluation, and contract award.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies in alignment with category strategies, project requirements, and internal procurement processes.
• Conduct commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms on cost, schedule, quality, and technical compliance.
• Prepare detailed Commercial Bid Evaluations and provide well-substantiated Recommendations to Purchase, identifying risks, opportunities, and savings.
• Provide commercial support during Purchase Order execution, including negotiation of variation orders, claims management, and vendor communications.
• Monitor supplier performance during execution phases and contribute to effective contract management and timely PO close-out.
• Support and guide procurement team members on projects, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies, budgets, schedules, and internal procedures.

Requirements

• Senior secondary vocational education with an enhanced curriculum / higher professional education. (MBO+ / HBO)
• Operational purchasing experience and preferably procurement specific education in the mentioned field. (e.g. NEVI 1)
• Proven negotiation and analytical skills.
• Team player.
